Read & Feeds in Lincoln County
A Read & Feed is a community meal specifically for families with children that focuses on literacy. The goal of a Read & Feed is to develop and encourage family literacy. Family literacy takes place during daily routines with interactive literacy activities between parents and their children that develop a learning environment within the home. These events focus on providing a hot meal to families, as well as providing age-appropriate books and literacy activities for youth.
