Art Class Volunteer Needed!

Are you passionate about art? Do you enjoy working with children?  The Newport HELP Center is looking for a volunteer to assist with its elementary-aged art studio on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5pm.  Volunteers would assist with various aspects of the art class. Volunteers must complete an application, Safe Schools training, and a background check to be eligible.  If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, contact Brittany Russel lat 541-574-5824 or


About LCSD H.E.L.P.

There are over 582 students in the Lincoln County School District who qualify as homeless. The HELP (Homeless Education & Literacy Project) Centers work with these students and their families to break down the barriers to education and keep them in school and succeeding.
